Atlanta, GA - A town dominated by a love for nightlife and home to some of the world's biggest rap super stars. You might say it is THE city to party in. The emerging scene being one of powerful electronic beats and auto tuned vocals, makes it hard for just any band not following the trends to break out... And then there's Namesake.

We're talking about Atlanta's own Brad Wagner, John O'Neill, Kevin Nordeste, and front man Ben Alfarro. Not a stranger to change or tribulations, the band has found ways to connect with any general audience. "I always try to write songs that anyone can relate to," states singer Ben Alfarro. "It helps bridge the gap between the listeners and the band." With the group's influences ranging from the biggest hits in the 80's to today's chart topping artists, it's safe to say you will find something you love about this band. Having a good time is what these guys are all about. With an arsenal of rock star stage moves, killer guitar solos, and a show that is precision executed, they know how to capture anyone's attention. Definitely something everyone will be talking about for a long time.

The band gained success after the release of their debut EP entitled "Tragically". Although a 3 song record, the group was able to accomplish what they set out to do. "We wanted to put something out there that expressed who we are as people, and that would make a difference in the way the music scene is going." Explains drummer Kevin Nordeste. The band was also apart of the 2008 Vans Warped Tour, supporting artists such as Forever the Sickest Kids and Gym Class Heroes. "That was one of the biggest moments of my life, and our fans helped us do it!" says guitarist Brad Wagner. The band recently released their first single, "Never Said No," that helped them gain even more critical reception. With plans for a music video, another EP, and an American tour, 2010 is going to be a very big year for NameSake.

All they need is a bass player who has great feel, stage presence, and can really connect with the other guys.
